So, who better to give their take on upcoming trends than the man himself.
"On the whole, hair is taking a much more natural, minimal and 1990s approach,” he told Vogue.
“With clothes being as intricate as they are, hair needs to look cool and easy by comparison. It's a case of a little bit of a little something actually does a lot."
Guido admits that while the all-natural look is all about effortless chic, actually pulling off an ‘undone’ style is trickier than you might think.
"The 'natural' look that everyone keeps talking about actually requires quite a bit of work to get to that two-day-old-blow-dry texture.
“Redken's Powder Refresh 01 and Powder Grip 03 are great for adding guts and texture. They give a nice matte finish too, which is exactly what I have been looking for."
So, what is the most important lesson Guido has learned throughout his much-applauded career?
"Keep reinventing,” he insists. “Revisiting eras such as the '60s and '90s for inspiration never gets old because they still look and feel modern today."
And his tips for next season?
"I am really enjoying doing a feminine side part that falls over the face,” he says.
“It feels much fresher and much more feminine than a strict and clean centre part, and is easy for any woman to recreate."
